Important Data Protection Information

Please read before proceeding:

  • DVLA handles your personal data in accordance with road traffic law and data protection laws
  • The law allows DVLA to release your data to enforcement bodies and other parties where legally permitted
  • Your driving licence information will be processed by this organisation for employment verification purposes
  • This includes personal details, driving entitlements, endorsements, disqualifications, and CPC information where applicable
  • You have the right to request that your information not be processed if your connection with this organisation ends
Legal Requirements:
  • By law, you must tell DVLA immediately if you change your permanent address or name
  • You could be fined up to £1,000 if you do not report these changes
  • If your licence details are not up to date, you must return it to DVLA for correction
  • Lost, stolen or destroyed licences must be replaced immediately

We use it for: DVLA licence verification only

We share with: DVLA (verification) and your employer (results only)

We keep it for: 6 months (anonymized), 12 months (deleted), audit logs 3 years

Your rights: Access, correction, withdrawal, deletion

A copy of the result is emailed to you and to the fleet administrator once the check completes.
